As of June 2026, Taryn has explored all seven continents, 77 countries, and every U.S. state. Her work is guided by a fascination with the relationship between people, place, and presence.

Inspired by vast landscapes and intimate moments of everyday life, she creates photographs that invite viewers to slow down, observe, and feel. What began with a teenage trip to Paris for dance and later evolved through decades of solo travel has become a lifelong practice of seeing the world through a lens of curiosity and wonder.
