After 14 years in corporate America, Taryn put it all aside in 2016 to spend a year traveling the world solo, stretching her photography skills, and learning self-portraiture. After stepping foot on all seven continents, she returned to the US and combined her passions of photography, wellness, storytelling, equity for women, and business to create Her Travel Style, a collective for the self-aware woman who wants to better know and care for herself through travel. Subsequently, the formation of HTS paved the way for the creation of Her Aperture, a boutique photography and web design agency supporting solopreneurs in the health and wellness spaces.

As the global pandemic settled in, like many, Taryn’s evolution led her to uncover a new aspect of her spirituality and passion for supporting individuals in their search for balance, happiness, and personal freedom. This realization was reinforced at the close of 2020 after the loss of her mother. In December of 2022, Taryn launched Untamed Insights. An intuitive coaching and energy healing practice supporting humans in a personal and private way.

Taryn’s creative roots started at the age of three when she found her love of dance and later went on to study it at the University of Maryland, College Park. Today Taryn draws her inspiration from nature, her spiritual lineage and cultural roots, cinema, movement, and her rescue dogs, Bear, Stormy, and Rosie.

She is based in Southern California.
